The aim of the study is to clarify the process of Islamization, the unique characteristics of each community, forms of conflict, and to propose solutions for harmonious coexistence. The findings reveal the unique syncretism of the Cham Bani, where traditional beliefs and matrilineal customs blend with Islam, in contrast to the strict adherence to Islamic law observed by the Cham Islam. These differences have led to historical tensions and current conflicts over doctrine, religious practices, and the construction of places of worship. This article contributes to a deeper understanding of religious diversity within the Cham community and provides a foundation for proposing solutions that promote mutual understanding and sustainable coexistence.</p> Dang Nang Hoa Nguyen Ngoc Anh Copyright (c) 2026 Dang Nang Hoa, Nguyen Ngoc Anh https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-04-15 2026-04-15 5 2 10.51773/ajrs.v5i2.455 Comparison of The Use of Prepositions with Verbs and Nouns in Vietnamese and Arabic https://journal.amca2012.org/index.php/ajrs/article/view/470 <p>The research conducts a contrastive comparison of the use of prepositions accompanying verbs and nouns between Arabic and Vietnamese. Based on a research sample consisting of an article about Arabic journalism in Arabic life, located in Part 2 of the book Al-kitābu al-asāsī fī taʿlīmu al-lughati al-ʿarabiyyati li-ghayri an-nāṭiqīna bihā. The research focuses on four cases: (1) Direct equivalence, (2) Omission of prepositions, (3) Semantic incompatibility, and (4) Optional prepositions. Results show that differences in linguistic typology led to the use of prepositions not merely as a grammatical function but also depending on visual imagery and semantic inclusion within the verb. The research makes a small contribution to Arabic language teaching in Vietnam and translation/interpretation work.</p> Van Thi Hanh Dung Copyright (c) 2026 Van Thi Hanh Dung https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2026-04-15 2026-04-15 5 2 10.51773/ajrs.v5i2.470
